Managing Director

Matt Walter

With over fifteen years of practical field experience in technology consulting, technology management, staffing, and business operations, Matt is well positioned to bring search and recruitment services to the accounting, finance and technology industries. He has developed a network of sought-after professionals who are most often not actively looking for a new position and may not be reachable otherwise, especially in today’s highly competitive hiring environment.

He specializes in overseeing temporary, consulting and permanent placement teams as well as maintaining and growing relationships with his clients. Matt prides himself on providing people with the best experience and always offers support.

Prior to launching MSW Staffing, he started his career in staffing as a consultant for various companies in the south Florida market. Matt served as Managing Director at Hernandez & Co, a full-service CPA firm specializing in national and international tax, accounting and corporate services. Previously he held positions at Robert Half Technology, a provider of technology professionals on a project and full-time basis as a VP, and as an Advisory Analyst for KPMG, a global network of professional firms providing audit, ax and advisory services.

In his free time, he loves travelling with his lovely wife Felicia and going on adventures with their two Cocker Spaniels, Milo and Obie. Matt is an avid skier and can often be found on the slopes during the winter seasons and venturing in the Jupiter waters on his boat in the summer seasons. Matt also loves going to car shows as he is a BMW enthusiast…vrooom. His inner nerdy side loves Star Trek, outer space exploration and building computers.

Favorite Quote:
Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently. – Henry Ford.

What things do you find yourself doing that you said you would never do?
Ironically, I was never a sales guy. I was a computer nerd and had no intention of public speaking selling, presenting ect. Now I do everything I was most uncomfortable with so I’ve found that without challenge life is can becomes mundane, so I always challenge myself with new things, adventures, exploration while trying to fail forward and learn from mistakes that inevitability be made along the way.
