What brought you to Vaco? What drew your interest?
I was randomly browsing through Linkdin and noticed a message from a recruiter, Lavonte! I had worked in the restaurant industry for many years but my goal was to eventually move on and start building a career for myself. When I came in for my interview the atmosphere was so electric and genuine, I knew I had found the right place!
Why should anyone choose Vaco SF for Managed Services/Contingent Workforce?
As unique as we are as individuals, businesses are the same. We don’t roll out the same plan to every place expecting the same results but instead tailor our services to specifically meet the needs of each unique company.
What’s the toughest business decision that you’ve ever made at this point in your career?
Having to leave my last job. I loved working there and was afraid to “leave the nest” and branch out on my own because I was so comfortable with the relationships I had built and the routine I was accustomed to. I had no idea what Vaco could offer but I began to see I could never truly tap into my potential and grow where I needed to if I stayed.
What’s the best thing about working at Vaco?
Aside from watching the sun rise through my incredible view I would say the camaraderie within our team. I can reach out to any of them for help and its reassuring knowing I have a great support system behind me on this journey through my brand new career!
Describe your work style.
I like keeping my To-do list as small as possible so the minute something hits my plate I set into motion how long it will take me to do, and when I can expect myself to finish it. I then put my head down and get straight to it!
