One of the recruiters found me via LinkedIn and contacted me. I desired to utilize my business development and project/people management background to help further grow Vaco’s business – especially within Google projects.

What’s the toughest business decision you’ve ever made at this point in your career? Explain.
Turning down other company offers in order to stay with my teams and projects. However, I never regretted it.

What’s the best thing about working at Vaco?
My manager appreciates my input and trusts me to do my job. He gives me the freedom and flexibility to manage my projects/people in order to grow the business. He is a great mentor who recognizes my success and makes himself available to support me when I need guidance. My agents are very loyal, responsible and truly great people. They work very hard and support each other well to bring our projects to the next level. It makes me happy when I hear comments like they actually enjoy waking up in the morning to see the team and work together.

Describe your work style:
I only choose to work for a company that I truly believe in. I invest a lot of time growing partnerships, developing projects, coaching my teams, and I measure my success based on their growth/success level. It’s very important to me that I create a second home-like environment for my agents because we spend more time at work than being at home. I believe in building long lasting relationships and success over short term gain.
I communicate well and provide quality feedback. I don’t like to complain, but instead prefer to take action to make the situation better. I continuously strive to be a good role model and represent my company well.
