Real Time Analyst
(Legal Investigations Support)
Location: Austin, TX
Job Description
We are looking for discerning individuals who are passionate about data and able to work across different projects, supporting tool development and implementing process efficiency.
You will be working with a team that receives and responds to user data requests from regulatory government and third party agencies. If you thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment and enjoy analyzing data, this position is for you!
This is a vendor role with Vaco for a client’s team, a Fortune 100 company. This position is currently remote until further notice
Schedule Requirements:
- Monday through Friday, flexible schedule within standard business hours
- You may be asked to work outside of your core hours due to business necessity

Responsibilities
- Monitor incoming volume and output to balance effort allocation in real time
- Analyze existing processes and resources to provide recommendations
- Implement process improvements
- Work closely with management and stakeholders to provide actionable recommendations in handling incoming volume
- Develop and maintain databases to support efficiency
- Proactively identify volume trends and project impact of new requests
- Take deeper dives into specific trends or issues affecting the client’s products by writing a detailed research article and issue brief. This usually includes topics that are of more urgent and/or sensitive and require more analysis.
- Absorb feedback and analyze pain points from all involved parties
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Political science or similar
- 2+ years work experience as a data analyst or in a related field
- Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases (SQL)
- Advanced spreadsheet manipulation skills
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical thinking and problem solving
- Adaptability
- Ability to prioritize and work with deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity in one or more of the following: Python, Java, R, Stata, SPSS, SAS, Tableau, AppScript, HTML, JavaScript and/or CSS
