Job Description

This is a full-time CONTRACT role, with a 1+ Year duration.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Guide education partners through design and implementation of product integrations with Classroom
  • Collaborate with product team to understand and inform product road map, and its application to partners needs
  • Provide technical support and best practices for partners
  • Build technical expertise in the following: Working with OAuth and HTTP/REST APIs, & Helping edtech software vendors (ISVs) with integration with Classroom API
  • Maintain confidentiality for unlaunched products
  • Regularly communicate partner progress, blockers, and successes
  • Handle project management (tracking status, etc.) for integrations
  • Create and update documentation to address knowledge gaps, and accelerate partners' understanding and adoption of our APIs
  • Possible travel to work with other Developer Advocates and customers

Top Daily Responsibilities

  • Take regular, integration-focused meetings with ISVs to help them design integration of their tools with our client's Classroom app
  • Get partners up and running on the product and give them documentation
  • Field open questions that arise from partners during development
  • Keep track of and organize feature requests and bugs for the Classroom API

Required Skills

  • Familiarity with the edtech landscape
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, 2+ years relevant working experience, or extensive experience building applications on APIs
  • Web application development experience
  • Familiarity with OAuth and HTTP/REST APIs
  • Understands capabilities of Docs/Slides add-ons, Drive APIs, and Admin SDK
  • Good organizational skills & ability to multitask, be able to work on multiple projects with different customers simultaneously
